A little bit of history…

Military commander of the Senones (City of Sens), covering a larger area including Seine-et-Marne, Loiret, and Yonne. Known for defeating the Romans at the Battle of the Allia (a tributary of the Tiber), then attacking Rome and capturing a large part of the city, holding it for several months around 387 BC. The Brennus Shield is the award given to the victorious team of the French Rugby Union Championship, the Top 14.
