A bit of history…

An aristocrat of the Arverne people and father of Vercingetorix (Vercingetorix = leader and king of the Celtic Arvernes who federated part of the Gallic tribes in a revolt against Roman forces. He may have been the Principate of Gaul, perhaps a supreme magistrate of the Arverne people in the 1st century B.C., under the aegis of an aristocratic government close to the Roman elective magistracy.
